We are seeking an Speech Language Pathologist whose primary responsibility is providing speech/language pathology and audiology services, providing education and consultation with patient/ family and other personnel, as well as completing assessments and evaluation of functioning

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and treatment of Residents who demonstrate disorders of speech, language, cognitive communications, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
  • Completion of all necessary documentation, which includes but is not limited to the following items: Initial evaluation forms, weekly progress notes, monthly recertification forms, and discharge summaries.
  • Develop programs appropriate to the needs of the residents in the community, to assist them in achieving their highest feasible level of functioning.
  • Consult and coordinate services with other disciplines.
  • Screening of Residents within established guidelines
 
Qualifications:
 
Minimum Education Required:
Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or Communication Disorders. State Licensure. (or proof of registration to complete the Clinical Fellowship year in Speech Pathology after which certification can be obtained). ASHA Certification (or proof of ASHA Certification). Current CPR certification
 
Experience:
As applicable to assignment.
