Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and retain qualified staff.
- Provide quality leadership by exhibiting moral and ethical behavior
- Assist in planning and coordinating all activities, which pertain to the quality of dining services programs for the Residents.
- Supervises the preparation of food for Residents, guests and staff members.
- Supervises Chef de Cuisines, cooks, pantry cooks, dishwashers, and any other dining services staff members assigned to food preparation.
- Manages the overall day to day operations of the Main Street Kitchen. To include ordering food and supplies, working with Chef de Cuisine to create menus, making menu changes, and assuring all dietary procedures are followed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A Degree in Culinary Arts
Experience:
Minimum on five (5) years of culinary management experience in a fine dining establishment. Experience in a country club, luxury hotel or continuing care retirement community is preferred
